Golden Milk

Enjoy the many health benefits of turmeric  in this tasty, spice drink!

 

Ingredients: 

  • 5 cups unsweetened coconut milk or almond
  • 1 tablespoon peeled, grated fresh turmeric
  • 2 teaspoons of peeled, grated fresh ginger
  • 3-4 black peppercorns

 Preperation:

Heat all ingredients, Bring to a boil and then simmer, covered for 10 minutes. Strain and sweeten to taste with manuka honey (if desired). Option to add a dash of cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg and/or cloves.
